ROCKINGHAM — Daniel “Danny” Lee Gibson III, 43, of Rockingham, passed away Thursday, Jan. 5, 2023 at his residence.
He was born July 24, 1979, in Austin, Texas, son of Annie Louise Clawson Grady and the late Daniel Lee Gibson Jr.
Danny was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Lee Gibson Jr.; and is survived by his wife, Michelle “Lucy” Goins of the home; mother, Annie Louise Grady of Austin, Texas; brother, Chris Gibson of Huntingdon, Pennsylvania; sister, Sharon Gibson Boone of Austin, Texas; stepdaughter, Rosa Michele Goins of Rockingham; and several aunts and uncles.
A memorial service will be held Friday, Jan. 20, 2023 at 3 p.m. at Southside Freewill Baptist Church, Ellerbe. The family will received guests following the service in the fellowship hall.
