MARSTON — David Allen Bolden Jr., 53, of Marston, North Carolina, passed away surrounded by his loving family April 1, 2023.
David is the son of Doris Hutchinson and the late David Allen Bolden Sr. He was born Aug. 23, 1969 in Reidsville, North Carolina.
David was a very proud and hardworking man. For most of his life he worked in construction and he took immense pride in his work. He was a giving man, he would help a friend in any way he could. He was the type of man that would give the shirt off his back to help someone in need.
He loved many things in life. He loved hunting, fishing and country music. He loved his work, his passions and family. Above all, he loved his two sons, Daniel and Dylan, and they meant the world to him. David was a good and hardworking man who will surely be missed by many.
David is survived by his mother, Doris Hutchinson of Reidsville; children, Daniel Liles of the home, Dylan Bolden (Lanie C. Williams) of Cordova; sister, Tammy Flippen of Reidsville; sister-in-law, Brenda Eubanks of Rockingham; Hannah Bolden Chrisco of the home; nephews, Mychal Eubanks, Kyndal Eubanks, Jayme Eubanks (Megan Eubanks); niece, Jasmine Flippen; great-niece, Kaycee Eubanks; life-long friend, James Michael Oxendine and many friends whom will all miss him dearly.
The family will receive friends Friday, April 7, 2023 from 2 to 3 p.m. at Watson-King Funeral Home in Hamlet, North Carolina. Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m. with Pastor Marvin Taylor officiating.
