David William “Billy” Webster, 86, of Greensboro, formerly of Hamlet, passed away Friday, Aug. 9, 2024, at Maple Grove Health & Rehabilitation in Greensboro.
He was born May 16, 1938 in Richmond County, a son of the late Aubrey and Lillie Dunlap Webster.
Billy was a member of Marks Creek Presbyterian Church and retired from Hood Packing Company. He was a simple man and enjoyed visiting and sharing stories.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Sarah W. Snead.
A graveside service will be conducted Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2024, at 5 p.m. at Marks Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery with the Rev. Ken Goins officiating.
Surviving, a nephew, Ronnie E. Snead of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; and his church family at Marks Creek Presbyterian Church.
