ROCKINGHAM — Deborah “Debbie” Batton Glaze, 66, of Rockingham, passed away Sunday, Feb. 19, 2023 at Richmond County Hospice Haven.
She was born Feb. 12, 1957, in Scotland County, daughter of Flora Shepard Brown and the late James Robert Batton Sr.
Along with her father, Debbie was preceded in death by a brother, James R. Batton Jr., and a sister, Jackie B. Moore.
She is survived by her husband, Philip A. Glaze Sr. of the home; mother, Flora Shepard Brown of Hamlet; sons, Justin Batton Williams of Rockingham and Chadwick Williams (Heather) of Virginia; stepdaughters, Stacy Glaze of Rockingham and Monique Glaze of California; stepson, Philip A. Glaze Jr. of California; sisters, Brenda Brown (Wadis) of Rockingham and Donna Wall (Dallas) of North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; and six grandchildren.
All services will be held private by the family.
