Dennis Knight, 64, of Bennettsville, South Carolina, passed away Friday, Sept. 6, 2024 at Rehabilitation Center of Cheraw, Cheraw, South Carolina.
He was born Jan. 3, 1960 in Scotland County, son of Evelina Knight Stubbs.
Dennis worked in textiles with Delta, Fieldcrest Cannon and Von Drehl, and he loved working. He also loved fishing and watching sports, especially basketball, football, and baseball, and loved his dogs. But of everything he loved and enjoyed, he loved his mama most of all.
Dennis is survived by his mother, Evelina Knight Stubbs (John) of Bennettsville, South Carolina; sister, Wanda Boatwright (Joshua) of Hamlet; brother, Kevin Stubbs (Lindsay) of Hamlet; nephews and nieces, Liam Stubbs, Noah Stubbs, Elizabeth Hailey and Pamela Hailey; great-nephews and niece, Donald Jackson, Dylan Jackson, Jake Patterson, Randall Patterson, Mason Patterson and Navi Patterson.
Visitation will be Monday, Sept. 9, 2024 from noon-1 p.m. at Harrington Funeral Home, Hamlet.
The funeral service will begin immediately following visitation, at 1 p.m., in the chapel of Harrington Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jamie English and the Rev. Donnie Robinson. Burial will follow at the Brigman Family cemetery, Bennettsville, South Carolina.
