ROCKINGHAM — Douglas Glenn Roberts, 60, of Rockingham passed away Monday, June 5, 2023 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.
Doug was born Sept. 5, 1962 in Muncie, Indiana, to Bonnie Hirst Roberts and the late Paul Roberts.
He was a graduate of Indiana Business College, a handyman and jack of all trades.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Keith Roberts; and his father-in-law/pops, Bill Litton.
Surviving are his wife of 31 years, Sherry Litton Roberts; children, Daniel Sewell (Melanie), Cameron Sewell (Angel) and Lia Crawford (Matt); his grandchildren who were his pride and joy, Simon, Cody, Autumn, Gabriella, Kaiden, Lillian, Phillip and T.J.; mother, Bonnie Roberts; siblings, Steve Roberts, Larry Roberts (Becky), Rhonda Hubbard, Jeff Roberts, and Denise Donovan; in-laws, Barbara Litton, Tammy Birky (Mike) and Rhonda Litton; and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Sunday, June 11, 2023 from 2–4 p.m. at the home, 100 Northam Road, for a celebration of Doug’s life.
