Georganna Blair Johnson, 86, of Hamlet, passed away peacefully Friday, Nov. 1, 2024 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born Sept. 4, 1938 in Hamlet, daughter of the late Flemming Blair and Bernice Blair Harrington.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Flemina Quick; and aunt, Beatrice Duff.
Left to cherish her memories are her daughters, Sonya Verbal of Hamlet and Paula Foster, husband Roy, of Chicago, Illinois; grandchildren, Whitney Verbal, Erin Verbal, Cameron Verbal, Carmen Verbal and Sydney Foster; great-grandson, Amir McKinnon; and nephew, Mike Quick.
Per Georganna’s request, no formal services will be held.
