HAMLET — Georgia Lynn O’Quinn Hoffman, 56, of Hamlet, passed away Thursday, Jan. 12, 2023 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, Pinehurst.
She was born March 18, 1966 in Richmond County, daughter of the late George Lewis O’Quinn and Ruth Floyd Jordan.
Lynn previously worked in shipping in textiles. She was a volunteer with Helping Hands Ministry Food Bank in Hamlet. She was a loving, outgoing person and cared for her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed tanning, being outside and cooking, and found enjoyment in reading.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and infant son, John Andrew “Andy” Hoffman.
Lynn is survived by her children, Tony O’Quinn (Erika) of Holden Beach, Tabitha Hoffman (Nick) of Franklin, Beth Robinson (Braxton) of Bennettsville, South Carolina, Shelly Hoffman (Gavin Smith) of Marshville, and Kelly Hoffman (Bryson Lampley) of Hamlet; grandchildren, Landry Robinson, Angeline Osentowski and Tillery O’Quinn; brother, Ronnie Hinson (Linda Cornish) of South Carolina; and special cousin, Margaret Roscoe.
Services will be held private by the family.
