ROCKINGHAM — Harold Clinton Parker Sr., 60, of Rockingham, passed away Sunday, Oct. 16, 2022 at his residence.
He was born June 7, 1962 in Richmond County, son of the late Harold Parker and Verline Carpenter Worrell.
Mr. Parker loved being outside and enjoyed fishing. In earlier years, he also enjoyed working on cars. His greatest joy was his family; he loved his children, grandchildren, brothers and sisters, and his friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Vernon Parker; sister, Diana Horton; and nephew, Frankie.
Mr. Parker is survived by his children, Harold Clinton Parker Jr. (Kelly) of Hamlet, Wendy Jacobs Parker (Kevin Bradshaw) of Gastonia, Kristen Parker of Rockingham, and Sherry Lee King (Jason) of Biscoe; grandchildren, Kenleigh, Clinton, Kendon, Kalee, Cassidy, Javin, Kelsey, Madelyn, Anthony and Carley; special friend, Shirley Oliver; brothers, Terry Parker and Harold Parker Jr. (Brittany Perkins), all of Rockingham; sister, Doreen Jenks of Rockingham; brother-in-law, Mike Horton of Hamlet; and nieces and nephews, Kevin, Travis, Russell, Destiny and Karrissa.
A time of visitation will be Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2022 from 5-7 p.m. at Harrington Funeral Home, Hamlet. A private memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.
