OBITUARY: Heather Alise Byrne

Heather Alise Byrne, 48, of Bishopville, South Carolina, passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at MUSC Medical Center, Florence.

She was born April 21, 1976, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, daughter of Marilyn Byrne Seitz.

Heather worked previously as a CNA in healthcare. She was the biggest Dallas Cowboys fan and not only loved football, but all sports. She was very artistic, especially with drawing. Heather loved watching movies, the beach, and playing pool and throwing darts. The most important in Heather’s life was her family and she loved being a mother to Cameron.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Norma Ann Byrne.

Heather is survived by her son, Cameron Heaton (Asia) of the home; mother, Marilyn Byrne Seitz (Steve) of Timmonsville, South Carolina; brother, James William Jeter Jr. of Rockingham; sister, Heidi Jeter (Ernie James) of Rockingham; aunts and uncles, Sarah Shoun, Debi and Mike Sellers, Eddie and Michelle Byrne and George “Buddy” Byrne; nieces and nephews, Tatum and Austin Gallops, Khaliq Anderson, Dallas Jeter, Jaylen James, and James William “Trigger” Jeter III; and a host of cousins, friends, and extended family.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Harrington Funeral Home, Hamlet, with the Rev. Dean Dixon officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation one hour prior to the service beginning at 1 p.m.
