A beautiful, caring, poised woman that many in Richmond and surrounding counties knew or have seen. Jackie was one face most looked for when Nelson Funeral Service showed up for a funeral, as she has served our communities with her faithfulness. Our hearts are heavy as we here at Nelson Funeral Service also share in mourning the loss and grieving process with the Stroman family, for our beloved family, friend and co-worker.
Jacqueline “Jackie” Stroman, 75, of Rockingham, North Carolina, answered the Master’s call from labor to reward, on Friday, April 19, 2024, surrounded by her loving family and close friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at First Baptist Church, 329 West Ave., Hamlet, North Carolina. The service will be live streamed through DC’s Creative Innovations at https://www.facebook.com/dccreativeinnovations.
Public viewing will be Friday, April 26, 2024, noon until 6 p.m. at Nelson Funeral Home, 1021 E. Washington St., Rockingham.
The family will receive friends and visitors at 233 Apt. A, Eastside Drive, Rockingham, between the hours of noon and 9 p.m.
