James “Jamie” Clayton Allen, 47, of Rockingham, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2024 at his home.
He was born June 16, 1976 in Richmond County, son of Alice Moore Allen and the late James Raymond Allen.
Jamie enjoyed all things computers. He loved being a digital content creator and gaming. He had a big heart and never met a stranger. One of his greatest qualities was even if someone was sad, he had the ability of making you laugh. He dearly loved his family and especially his niece, nephew, and great-niece and nephews.
Along with his father, Jamie was preceded in death by his brother, Matthew Allen.
He is survived by his mother, Alice Moore Allen of the home; sister, Tracy Allen of Cordova; nephew, Bret Allen; nieces, Diamond Young (Ty) and Haley Sargent; one great-niece and two great-nephews.
Visitation will be Monday, Jan. 15, 2024 from noon-1 p.m. at Harrington Funeral Home, Hamlet.
The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation, beginning at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Harrington Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Rockingham.
