ROCKINGHAM — Kay Frances Thomas Prince, 87, of Rockingham, passed away Saturday, July 16, 2022 at Hospice Haven in Rockingham.
Mrs. Prince was born May 20, 1935 in Richmond County, a daughter of the late Paul Thomas and the late Shirley Webb Gibson.
She had worked in retail sales and was a member of Abundant Life Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Prince;, son, Ronald Cullen; and sister, Judy Barfield.
Surviving are her children, Sharon Cullen and Patrick Cullen; grandchildren, Michael Cullen, Rene Cullen and Beth Simmons; great-grandchild, Mason Simmons; and siblings, John Thomas, Alice Sweatt and Wilbert Gibson.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Richmond County Memorial Park with the Rev. Joe B. Wilkes, Jr. officiating.
The family will see friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham and at other times at her sister’s home.
