Kenny Wayne Stuart, 56, of Hamlet, passed away Sunday, Oct. 8, 2023 at his home.
He was born in Gaston County, June 26, 1967, son of the late Thomas Hicks Sr. and Iris Irene Stafford.
Kenny previously worked as a supervisor with Packline USA LLC prior to his declining health. He was very active with the Hamlet Church of God of Prophecy for several years in many capacities, including property maintenance, Helping Hands Ministry and food bank, as well as the Backpack Pals. He loved God and his church. He was a very giving person, kind-natured, and available to help those in need. Kenny also had a love of animals.
He is survived by his wife, Denise Stuart of the home; grandson, Jayden Moses; and numerous extended family and friends.
Services will be held at a later date.
