Kory Michael Kirwin, 31, passed away Monday, May 1, 2023.
Kory was the son of Michael Rash and Kristine Marie Kirwin, born Sept. 21, 1991 in Wilmington, Delaware.
Kory never met a stranger. He was a charming and charismatic young man that knew how to be life of the party. After completing his GED, Kory worked for several years in Wadesboro in construction.
Kory loved many things in life. When Kory wasn’t working he was always outside. He loved to take his daughter to Hitchcock Creek to walk around and look at rocks. Kory loved to visit Hinson Lake at night and watch the stars while sitting on the pier. Kory loved many things, but above all loved his family. Especially his daughter, Rylie.
Kory is survived by his parents, Michael Rash and Kristine Kirwin; fiancée, Morgan Pinto; brother, Kris Kirwin (Jessica); aunt, Kelly Nuzzo (Chris); uncle, Kevin Kirwin (Nora); grandfather, Kevin Kirwin (Denise); and his daughter, Rylie Addison Kirwin.
Kory also leaves behind a host of friends and family, all of whom will miss him dearly.
A memorial service will be held in honor of Kory Friday, May 12, 2023 at 11 a.m. with Chaplain Chris Thornton officiating. The family will greet friends for visitation following the service. Services will be held at Watson-King Funeral Home in Rockingham, North Carolina.
