NORMAN — Lois Lamonds Loflin, 88, a longtime resident of Norman, passed away peacefully, Saturday, June 24, 2023 at FirstHealth Hospice House in West End.
Mrs. Loflin was born May 31, 1935 in Montgomery County, a daughter of the late Lacy Hadley and Vergie Stewart Lamonds.
She was a homemaker, loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Dolan “R.D.” Loflin; and siblings, Neil Arthur Lamonds and Cornelia Blue.
Surviving are her sons, Ricky A. Loflin, Roger D. Loflin, Rodney W. Loflin (Candy); granddaughter, Elizabeth Anne Loflin; sisters, Janet Loflin, Becky Burkhead (Jerry), Faye Baker, Pamela Morgan (Dallas), and Darlene Fox (John); brother-in-law, Roy Loflin (Isabelle); and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at Chappell Cemetery in Ellerbe with the Rev. Larry Wilson officiating. The family will greet friends following the service at the cemetery.
