HAMLET — Margarita Vasquez, 89, of Hamlet, passed on Thursday, Nov. 17, 2022.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 21, 2022 at Church of Christ at Rockingham, 1014 Wild Cherry Ave., Rockingham.
Nelson Funeral Service is serving the family.
Margarita was born on Aug. 10, 1933, in Eagle Pass, Texas. She was the oldest of six children and all of her siblings preceded her in death. Margarita also had one son, Marty, who also preceded her in death.
Margarita worked as a registered nurse in San Antonio, Texas, and moved to Hamlet approximately nine years ago.
Margarita passed quietly, Thursday, Nov. 17, 2022 with her niece, Martha, by her side.
Margarita leaves to cherish her memory her loving and dedicated niece, Martha Strong (Robert) of Hamlet; her cousin, Henry Osborne of Jamesville, Wisconsin; a special great-nephew, Sheldon Strong, who took wonderful care of her; an extra special great-great-nephew, Noah Strong, whom she loved dearly; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family would like to thank you for the love and innumerable acts of kindness shown to them during this most difficult time. May God bless you abundantly!
