Patricia Grooms Calhoun, 77, of Cordova, passed away Thursday, Dec. 14, 2023 at FirstHealth Richmond Memorial Hospital.
She was born July 8, 1946 in Richmond County, a daughter of the late Arthur Ross and Gertrude Hurst Grooms and Evelyn Grooms.
She worked as a private caregiver for many years. She enjoyed shopping at Dollar General, working puzzles and traveling to the beach.
She is survived by her children, Timothy Grooms (Debbie), Gina Simmons (Frankie), Rory Calhoun and Bo her dog; a sister, Jan Wheeler; grandchildren, Thomas Grooms, Heather Gavia Grooms, Carlos Shelton, Rebecca Shelton, Abbie Calhoun, Lizzie Calhoun and Brooks Calhoun; great grandchildren, Catherine, Caroline, Connor, Mason and Sam.
Memorials may be to the donor’s choice.
