Mrs. Patricia Tucker King, of Rockingham, and formerly of Halifax County, Virginia, died at the age of 58.
Mrs. King was born on Oct. 10, 1964, in Halifax County, Virginia, to Loraine Judkins Tucker and the late Rev. Fred Howard Tucker Sr. She was married to the late John Phillip King.
Mrs. King is survived by one son, Phillip Rashad King of Rockingham; her mother, Loraine Tucker of Halifax, Virginia; a sister, Diane Tucker of Henrico, Virginia; three brothers, Fred H. Tucker Jr. (Wendy) of Halifax, Virginia, Matthew O. Tucker (Kimberly) of Carlsbad, California, and Acey N. Tucker (LaTroya) of Williamsburg, Virginia; two sisters-in-law, the Rev. Ruth Kelly (Samuel) and Janet Woodson (Robert); godchildren, Travis and Tyler Edmonds; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, neighbors and church members.
Funeral services for Mrs. Patricia Tucker King will be held Wednesday, Aug. 23 at 11 a.m. with services at Crystal Hill Baptist Church with Pastor Terry Broady as eulogist. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Public viewing will be at Jeffress Funeral Home on Tuesday, Aug. 22 from noon until 6 p.m.
