OBITUARY: Ramona Jean Worrell Moore

WADESBORO — On Monday, Dec. 5, 2022, Mrs. Ramona Jean Worrell Moore, 64, passed away peacefully at Wadesboro Health and Rehab in Wadesboro.

She was born on Jan. 21, 1958, in Honolulu, Hawaii, and was the daughter of the late Margaret Hesia Sanchez Worrell.

She worked as a barista for Starbucks.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Angela Maree Burr of Rockingham and Rebecca Poindexter Diamond (Darrell) and Bryce Scott Poindexter both of Florida; her grandchildren, David Phillip Burr of Rockingham and Scott Diamond of Florida; her great-grandchildren, Nevaeh Burr and Paxton Burr both of Rockingham; her brothers and sisters, Bob Worrell, Jim Worrell and Terri Cromer all of Greensboro, Vikki Padilla of Florida, Michelle Toro of Hawaii and Stevie Worrell of Washington and her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Wanda and Mike Ussery of Rockingham.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Worrell.

In accordance with her wishes, she will be cremated and her ashes returned to Hawaii to be laid to rest with her mother and brother.

The memorial service will be planned for a later date.

The family would like to thank the staff at Wadesboro Health and Rehab, Anson Community and Richmond County Hospice, and her sister-in-law, Wanda Usrey for all the love and care given to Ramona.
