Robert was a dedicated member of Cordova Baptist Church where he served as deacon for 50 years as well as teaching Sunday school. He also served as chaplain of FirstHealth Richmond Memorial Hospital for many years. Robert spent his career of 40 years at Burlington Industries.
He is preceded in death by his father; Marshall Heath; mother, Mary Heath; sister, Betty Ingram and husband Robert; sister, Lois Hall and husband Claude; son-in-law, Kenneth Edwards; and grandchild, Kristy Edwards.
Surviving is his dedicated and loving wife of 70 years, Juanita Heath; sister, Johnsie Mills (Bobby) of Ellerbe; brother, Jimmy Heath (Sybil) of Ellerbe; three daughters, Pam Edwards of Rockingham, Robin Lovette (Mark) of Rockingham, Connie Moser (Bobby) of Hamlet; six grandchildren, Rusty Edwards (Ashley), Justin Lovette (Kelli), Spencer Lovette, Molly Grace Lovette, Will Brand (Nicole) and Rebecca McKay (Kyle); seven great-grandchildren, Kyleigh, Bella, Kent, Caroline, Raleigh, Liam and Duncan Heath.
