ROCKINGHAM — Robin Denise Wilson, of Rockingham, passed away peacefully on July 30.
She was loving mother and great educator.
She was born July 29, 1961 in Rockingham to the late Kearney and Mary Wilson.
She grew up in Richmond County where she developed lifelong friendships. She was a school teacher for many years. Robin received her Bachelor Degree at East Carolina University and her Master’s Degree at N.C. State. She was currently teaching at Alston Middle School.
She is survived by her sons, Landon Taylor (Ashley Taylor) and Colby Taylor, both of Wake Forest; brothers, Kearney Wilson Jr. (Kayla Wilson) and Tony Wilson; a sister, Kay McInnis; numerous nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Tahlie.
A funeral service will be conducted Saturday, Aug. 6, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Abundant Life Church of God (formerly Highland Acres Church of God) with the Rev. Joe Wilkes officiating. Burial will follow at Richmond Co. Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Saturday, Aug. 6, 2022 from 1-2 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
