ROCKINGHAM — Rose Butler Jenks, 66, of Rockingham, passed away Sunday, April 24, 2023 at Atrium Health Union in Monroe.
Mrs. Jenks was born Feb. 13, 1957 in Gaston County, a daughter of the late Clarence Dillon and Hazel Holden Butler.
She was a member of Zion Circle Church where she was church pianist, and a member of the Moose Lodge and a past senior regent.
Surviving are her children, Chandra Millikan (Robert), Donald Jenks (Shena) and Brent Jenks (Talitha Allred); grandchildren, Zandra Chappell, Lexie Lovelace, Megan Furr, Jadden Jenks, Noah Jenks, Isaiah Jenks, Kiara Jenks and Trent Jenks; great-grandchildren, Acelynn Hunt, Madelynn Hill and Kohen Guinn; brothers, Dillon Butler Jr., Larry Butler, Steve Butler, Mike Butler and Marty Butler; sisters, Linda Stout and Kim West and Gary Jenks.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Zion Circle Church with the Rev. Marty Butler officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6–8 p.m. Wednesday at the church.
