Ryan Keith Hearne, 38, of Hamlet, passed away Thursday, Sept. 19, 2024 at Richmond Co. Hospice Haven. He was born June 21, 1986 in Moore County.
Ryan graduated from Roberdell Children’s Center. He loved music and dancing. Ryan was a loving son, brother and uncle. He had an ability to capture the heart of everyone he came in contact with.
He attended the Diligent Care Day Activity Centers in Rockingham and Moore County. He enjoyed the activities and trips that his friends, housemates and staff would take into the community, whether it was shopping, a concert, book club or community event, Ryan could be counted on to greet everyone with a smile and an enthusiastic “Hi.”
He was preceded in death by his parents Robert J. Voorhees Sr. and Caroline Smith Voorhees.
A graveside service will be conducted Saturday, Sept. 21, 2024 at 2 p.m. at Richmond Co. Memorial Park with Tammy Baldwin officiating.
Surviving, A sister, JoAnn Caulder (Eddie), Robert J. Voorhees (Dannie Weatherford) both of Hamlet; Nieces, Nicki Caulder, Randi Jo Caulder, Erin Voorhees; A nephew, Christopher Voorhees; Great nieces, Kinleigh Smith, Cali Infinger, Elsie Friske and Addison Smith; A great nephew, Braylon Smith;
