Sandra Kay McDonald, 80, of Rockingham, passed away Saturday, Sept. 7, 2024 at her home.
Mrs. McDonald was born May 20, 1944 in Richmond County, a daughter of the late James Warren and Mildred Dutton Warren Wrape.
She worked as a waitress for most of her life.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon B. McDonald Jr.; and siblings, Donna Warren, Joann (Froncie) Duehring and Jim Warren.
Surviving are her children, Pam McDonald Morgan, Darrell McDonald (Rhonda), Tony McDonald; grandchildren, Heather Dawkins (Jessica), Ryan Knight (Megan), Sydney McDonald and Autumn McDonald; great-granddaughter, Carlie Rae Knight; and brother, Jerry Warren (Sharon). Also surviving are sisters-in-law, Anita Warren and Brenda Martin; brothers-in-law, Robert Singletary and Raymond Duehring; special cousin, Linda Kelly; and several nieces and nephews.
Celebration of life services will be announced at a later date.
