HAMLET — On Saturday, May 6, 2023, Mr. Stephen Daniel Watts, 39, beloved husband, son, brother, grandson and nephew, passed away at his home.
There will be a memorial service at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 11, 2023 in the Mausoleum at Richmond County Memorial Park in Rockingham.
The family will greet friends following the service and other times at the home of his grandmother.
Stephen was born Dec. 12, 1983 in Richmond County, and was a son of Darlene Edmonds Watts and the late John Thomas “Toby” Watts Jr.
He attended Richmond County Schools and had worked in mobile home manufacturing and construction.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Audrey Hardy Watts of the home; his mother, Darlene Watts of Hamlet; his brother, Jacob Watts of Rockingham; his grandmother, Hollie Mae Watts of Rockingham; his aunts and uncles, Rhonda and Darrell McDonald of Cordova, Tonya and Gregg Baldwin, Tammy and Bubba Kirkley and Brenda Stogner all of Rockingham, Gloria Faires of Hamlet, Danny and Tonja Edmonds of Conway, South Carolina, and Michael and Loria Edmonds of Bennettsville, South Carolina.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
