HAMLET — Steven Ray “Stevie” Dunn, 52, of Hamlet, passed away Sunday, Jan. 1, 2023 at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill.
Mr. Dunn was born Dec. 14, 1970 in Richmond County, a son of the late Lacy Odell and Joyce Wilson Dunn.
He was co-owner and operator of S&A Bingo in Rockingham.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Teresa D Quick.
Surviving are his wife, Angela “Angie” Faircloth Dunn; sons, Steven Dunn Jr. (Brittany), Chris Dunn (Heather) and Andrew Dunn (Megan); grandchildren, Trip Dunn, Ellie Dunn, Ava Dunn, CJ Dunn, Tucker Dunn, Remi Dunn and AJ Dunn; siblings, Lacy Dunn Jr., Ricky Dunn (Michelle), Joel Dunn (Jamie), Sammy Dunn (Julie), Sharon D. Webster (Larry) and Sheila D. Trotter (Ted Deese).
The family will receive friends from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday at S&A Bingo, 564 U.S. Hwy 74 W, Rockingham, and at other times at the home.
