ROCKINGHAM — Wanda Carol Rorie Coble, 70, of Rockingham, passed away on April 1, 2023 at Richmond County Hospice Haven.
Wanda was born on Aug. 26, 1952 in Richmond County, a daughter of the late Harvey Alexander and Kattie Lee Wright Rorie.
Wanda was a nurse in the Nursery Department of Richmond Memorial Hospital for 25 years. She was a charter member and elder of Abundant Life Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband D. A. Coble Jr.; her son, Daniel Coble; and her brother, Roger Rorie.
Surviving are her son, David Coble (Victoria); grandchildren, Jacob, Josiah, Marie, Matthew, Daniel; siblings, Wayne Rorie, Ronald Rorie, Elmer Lee Rorie(Sharon), Janet Crook (Bob) and nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be at 11 a.m., Friday, April 7, 2023 at Abundant Life Church with Pastor Joe Wilkes Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Richmond County Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 6–8 p.m. Thursday at Abundant Life Church.
