Wendy Michelle Covington, 56, of Rockingham, passed away at home Thursday, Sept. 21, 2023.
Wendy was a daughter of Carl Driggers and Hilda Sellers.
Along with her father, she is predeceased by siblings Crystal Driggers and Freddie Sellers.
Wendy was a homemaker who loved raising her children. She dabbled in cosmetology in her free time. Wendy was a very crafty woman and loved a good joke. She loved to laugh and make others laugh. She was big fan of listening to music. Above all she loved and treasured her family. Her grandchildren were her whole world. There was nothing she wouldn’t do to see her grandchildren smile.
Wendy is survived by her daughters, Traci King (Brent), Jackie Quick (Andrew) and Amanda Wright; mother, Hilda Jean Sellers and stepfather Stan Sellers; siblings, Roger, Jodie, Sean and Jennifer; grandchildren, Jefferey Scott Parrish, Nadira Brown, Dacey Dickinson, Dougie Dickinson, Dannah Dickinson and Christina Quick.
A celebration of life will be held in Wendy’s memory Sunday, Oct. 1, 2023, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Joe Wilkes officiating. Services will be held at Watson-King Funeral Home in Rockingham.
