ELLERBE — Patsy Smith Everett, 67, of Ellerbe, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at her residence.
She was born Jan. 29, 1955, in Richmond County, daughter of the late Ralph Cleveland Smith and Iris Vernell “Nealie” Shular Smith.
Patsy was a member of Rourke Presbyterian Church in Ellerbe. In her earlier years, she worked in textiles, but later was a certified nursing assistant with Manor Care, which she loved. She had a big heart, was a real country girl, she loved the outdoors and especially loved fishing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph Cleveland Smith and Iris Vernell “Nealie” Smith; brothers, Arthur Ralph Smith and Cecil Eli Smith; and nephew, Roger Kevin Allred.
Surviving are her husband, “Richard” David Everett Jr. of the home; sisters, Betty S. West (Tommy) and Judy S. Robinson (Larry), all of Ellerbe; sister-in-law, Debbie M. Smith, of Ellerbe; and several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
