HAMLET — Mr. Paul Fleming Gregory, 53, of Hamlet, passed away Monday, Feb. 7, 2022 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital-Richmond.
Paul was born July 26, 1968, son of the late Donnie Leroy Gregory Sr. and Barbara Upchurch Gregory.
He possessed a great sense of humor and was a true outdoorsman. Riding four-wheelers and dirt bikes, and shooting guns were some of his favorite enjoyments. He was an expert at making things — he would figure out how to if he didn’t know. He was great on computers and loved to cook. His priority in life was loving his family.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents; and niece, Danielle Stogner.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Moore Gregory of the home; son, Christopher Gregory of Hamlet; sister, Crystal Stogner (Stanley) of Elkin; brother, Donnie Gregory Jr. (Patricia) of Sanford; nieces, Ashley Stogner, Maegan Gregory, Katy McCrimmon and Donna Haigler; and best friend, Walt Engelhardt.
The family will receive friends Friday, Feb. 11, 2022 from 6-9 p.m. at Springhill Wesleyan Church, Hamlet. At other times, the family will receive friends at 310 Gin Mill Road, Hamlet.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, Feb. 12, 2022 at 1 p.m. at Springhill Wesleyan Church, Hamlet.
