CORDOVA — Paul Nathanial Keeter, 62, passed away at his home in Cordova Sunday, Sept. 27, 2020, following a period of declining health.
A native of Mecklenburg County, he was born July 17, 1958, a son of the late Jettie Lee Carr Keeter of Buncombe County and the late Van Aubrey Keeter Sr. of Union County.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sue J. Keeter, a brother, Van A. Keeter Jr., and a nephew, Van Junior Holbrook.
In life, Paul worked as a finishing carpenter in the construction industry, a skill he had learned through his family. He was an excellent cabinet builder. His favorite non-working activities included fishing and going to the mountains.
He leaves behind one sister, Jennievee Keeter Holbrook (Ron) of Charlotte; two nieces, Suzy Marie Keeter (Mike) of Wingate, and Donna Lynn Holbrook (Francis) of Chester, South Carolina; three great-nephews, Michael Van, Stephen Paul, and Dylan Scott; one great-niece, Alisha; and a number of other friends and family members.
A private memorial service will be conducted for family and friends at a later date to be announced.
