ROCKINGHAM — Richard Leon Martin Jr., of Rockingham, passed away, Monday, Aug. 30, 2021 at his residence.
He was born Jan. 26, 1961, in Maryland, son of Richard Leon Martin Sr. and Mary Novak McRae.
Mr. Martin worked installing carpet and flooring. He was an awesome single Dad who raised his son by himself. He enjoyed NASCAR and all sports. He was a real family type of man!
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his son, Richard Leon Martin III and wife, Caitlan; and his two granddaughters, Addison and Lilah all of Twenty Nine Palms, California; and his sister, Denise McRae of Seattle, Washington.
All services will be private.
