HAMLET — Mr. Russell Jacobs Adeimy, age 67, of Hamlet, closed his eyes and passed into God’s presence Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2020 at 6:24 a.m. at the Haven.
Visitation is Saturday, Jan. 11, 2020 from 1-3 p.m. and the service is 3 p.m. at Freedom Baptist Church in Rockingham.
He was born Dec., 23, 1952 in Hamlet to David and Sara Jacobs Adeimy. He graduated Hamlet High School in 1971. Russell was an auto body technician for 48 years.
Russell had a big heart, loved his family and was one with nature. He always said, “Who could say there is no God? Look at creation all around you.” Last week he said, “You can’t argue with Jesus.”
He is survived by his daughter, Tiffany Adeimy Kamke (Steven) of North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; two brothers, Butch Adeimy of Hamlet and John Adeimy (Christin) of Cumming Georgia; one sister, Kitty Ormsby (Grady) of Swansboro; many beloved nieces and nephews; and his ex-wife Kathy Adeimy Meyers.
He was preceded in death by his beloved brother Thomas (Tommy) Stowe Adeimy.
The family is being served by Nelson Funeral Service of Rockingham.
