MARSTON — Sherry Newton Fore, 60, of Marston, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2022 at her home.
She was born Jan. 7, 1962 in Richmond County, a daughter of the late Stephen and Barbara Ellen Hatcher Newton.
She graduated from Richmond Senior High and the Richmond Community College nursing program. She worked several places during her nursing career, finishing at Richmond Home Health.
She was preceded in death by a son, Billy Roughton.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, May 19, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Watson-King Funeral Chapel in Hamlet with the Rev. Johnny Newton officiating. Burial will follow at Richmond Co. Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from Thursday 12:30-2 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Surviving, her husband, Jack Fore; daughter, Jill Roughton; stepson, David Fore; grandchildren, Trevor, Lilly, Nate, Taylor and Willow; great-grandchildren, Violet Rose, Paisley, E.J. ; brothers, Jeff Newton, Jamie Gaithings and Stephen Newton.
