Thomas Clyde Revels

ABERDEEN — Thomas Clyde “T.C.” Revels, 80, of Aberdeen, transitioned from this earthly life on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at FirstHealth Hospice House, Pinehurst.

He was the son of the late James Revels and Annie Alford Revels and was born April 7, 1942 in Robeson County, North Carolina.

T.C. attended Robeson County Schools in Rowland. After school, T.C. began to work as a farmer.

T.C. loved fast-running cars and Tyrone Davis, along with his Kango hats and shades.

T.C. was preceded in death by his wife, Halene S. Revels; and siblings, Thelmus Revels, Herman and Therman Revels, James l. Smith, Audrey McIntyre and Viola McCallum.

T.C. leaves to cherish his memories two sons, Joe Revels and Tony Watson of Pinehurst; three daughters, Ms. Gwendolyn (Theron, fiancé’) Revels, Laverne Revels and Phyllis Revels, all of Pinehurst; sisters, Pastor Garnetta (Vernon) Graham of High Point, Janice (John) Leggett of Rowland, Ruby Southerland and Juanita Revels of Pembroke; two brothers, Luther Revels of Asheville  and John Revels of Rowland. T.C also has two grandchildren, Reginald and Tiffany, and five great-grands. T.C. also leaves a host of nephews, nieces, and friends and a very special friend, Ms. Carrie Graham.

Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Saturday, April 30 at Elite Funeral Services, 125 High Street , Ellerbe.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, May 2 at Academy Heights Memorial Cemetery, 316 Lincoln Ave., West End.
