HAMLET — Triea Sue “Susie” Haulk Deaver, 65, of Hamlet, went to be with her Lord, Thursday, Aug. 12, 2021, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital-Richmond, Rockingham.
She was born in Rutherford County, Sept. 4, 1955, daughter of J.V. Millard Haulk and Annie Mae Cox Haulk.
Susie was a member of Sandhills Free Will Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school. Susie loved her church and enjoyed reading and studying her Bible. She loved doing for others and was a true servant. She was an amazing woman, wife and mother. Our loss is Heaven’s gain!
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, Aug. 19, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Sandhills Free Will Baptist Church, 21421 Crawford Lake Road, Laurel Hill. Burial will follow.
She was preceded in death by her parents; stepson, Kevin L. Deaver; and grandson, Kevin Deaver.
Survivors include her husband of 32 years, Billy Deaver; daughter, Keri Campbell (Dustin) of Aberdeen; stepson, Michael Deaver (Dana) of Rockingham; brothers, Bobby Haulk (Julie) of Waxhaw and Denny Haulk of Rockingham; sister, Tracy Covington (Gene) of Rockingham; three grandchildren, Katelyn and Tristan Campbell and Angelica Garcia; and two great-grandchildren, Julien and Annalise Garcia.
