ROCKINGHAM — Trish Nichols Harris, 34, of Rockingham, passed away Thursday, April 14, 2022 at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill surrounded by family and friends.
She was born in Richmond County, a daughter of William and Debbie Blake Nichols.
She graduated from Richmond Senior High in 2005 and was a member of Zion United Methodist Church. She was the office coordinator for Scholl Mechanical Company. She owned and operated Little River Threads LLC. She was a loving and compassionate wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She had the biggest heart and smile and she loved deeply and cared unconditionally.
Surviving, her husband of five years, Ben Harris of the home; children, Max Wiggins and Riley Jo Harris of the home; parents, William and Debbie Nichols of Rockingham; a brother, Cole Nichols (Ashlea McCormick) of Rockingham; mother-in-law, Lorie Tatum of Rockingham; mother-in- Law, Ruth Ann Harris, of Hamlet; godparents, Scott and Donna Nixon of Rockingham; grandparent, Pat Blake of Rockingham; and so many beloved friends and family.
Preceded in death by: grandparents, Bill and Maxine Nichols of Rockingham; grandparent, Donald Ray Blake of Rockingham; father-in-law, Joe Harris of Hamlet.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 19, 2022 from 5-8 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Hamlet and at other times of Trish’s parents’ home, William and Debbie Nichols, 251 Zion Church Road, Rockingham.
A graveside service to celebrate her life will be held Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at 3 p.m. at Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Brian Perry officiating.
