ROCKINGHAM — Wanda Kelly Kendig, 70, of Rockingham, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2020.
Wanda was born on Jan. 11, 1950 in Richmond county to the late Lonnie and Beulah Tyler Kelly.
She was retired from Walmart and loved spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Timothy Kendig of the home; her kids Jamie (Juan) Gutierrez, Rock (Rhonda) Outen, Jenny (Kevin) Allstrom, Chris Kendig; grandkids, Nicki Smith (Daniel Pate), Hayley (Tyler) Blackwell, Hannah Outen (Dylan Scherer), Mackenzie Barfield, Kiera, Nikolai and Hayden Allstrom; great-grandkid, Makenzie Pate; and a sister, Carolyn Dick.
She was preceded in death by her prior husband, James Outen Jr. (papa); brothers, Carl Kelly and Davis Kelly; and a sister, Betty Tyler.
Funeral service will be on Monday, Oct. 12, 2020 outside at Sweet Haven Church. Interment will follow at Richmond County Memorial Park.
