Charlotte, NC – The Mark Harris campaign released their newest advertisement, titled “Colors.”  The ad shows Harris holding a royal blue and a baby blue t-shirt, and asserts that North Carolinians know the difference between these two colors.  The ad then points out that while Dan McCready may talk like a conservative, North Carolinians know that he will govern how his liberal backers like Nancy Pelosi demand that he will.

“Democrat Dan McCready’s campaign is powered by Pelosi, and yet he wants the people of this district to believe he won’t play for her team if he was elected,” Harris said. “But just as we all know the difference between these two colors, I trust the voters to understand the difference between who Dan says he is and who he will be if he made it to Congress.”

“Colors” points out that McCready donated to Hillary Clinton and that his campaign is being propped up by Nancy Pelosi.  It also highlights that McCready’s team wants to grow government and eliminate the Trump tax cuts.

Mark Harris, a Charlotte pastor, faces McCready in the November general election.  Harris defeated Rep. Robert Pittenger in the GOP primary in May and was one of only two challengers in the entire nation to defeat an incumbent Republican member of Congress in a primary.  The race is one of the most closely-watched contests in the country and will be critical in determining which party controls the U.S. House of Representatives in 2019-2020.
