SANFORD — Ronald Jackson Brown, 72, of Sanford, N.C., passed away Friday April 5, 2019 at Central Carolina Hospital.
He was born Feb. 2, 1947 in Richmond County, N.C., to the late Mary and Foster Brown.
Ronald worked as a quality control technician for IBM for 28 years. His hobbies included reading books and working outside in his garden. Ronald cherished the memories made with his family and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Linda Brown; a daughter, Melissa Matthews and husband Brian; two sons, Kevin Brown and Darrell Brown; a brother, Kenneth Brown; a sister, Dwelda Smith; and five grandchildren, Alyson Matthews, Aaron Matthews, Austin Matthews, Hudson Brown and Griffin Brown.
No services are planned at this time.
