Qualified immunity is a legal doctrine that shields cops from liability for actions taken in the line of duty unless they violate rights “clearly established” by existing judicial precedent. No statute exists granting qualified immunity. It evolved over time based on a series of Supreme Court cases.

The Kentucky legislature solved the state’s spiritual problems earlier this year. With Gov. Matt Bevin’s signature inked on a bill passed during the 2019 legislative session, we now have a Christian Commonwealth!

The new law requires Kentucky public schools to prominently display the U.S. national motto, "In God We Trust." (South Dakota passed a similar law.)

Too bad we don’t.

Trust in God, that is.

Christians on the left side of the political spectrum pull a clever bait-and-switch to support their calls for socialist government policies.
