CHARLOTTE – Dear Friends,
Every day we are seeing that this 9th District Congressional race is far more important than just a campaign for a seat in the U.S. House. This is the epicenter of the culture war that’s facing our nation.
Just yesterday, both ABC and the Charlotte Observer published stories about a Mother’s Day sermon I preached where I talked about how there is no more important role a woman has than that of a wife and mother.
It should come as no surprise that my opponent, Dan McCready, jumped at the opportunity to twist my words and attack me. But, far more important than the attack on me is the thinly veiled assault on the Word of God. He is mocking our biblical values by saying we are out of touch with this century.
