ROCKINGHAM — Rockingham boys’ basketball coach Julius Bowden had an inkling that if eighth graders Paul McNeil and Talan Stoner each had a strong performance Thursday, then the Rockets would advance to the Southeastern Middle School Athletic Conference title game.
