ROCKINGHAM — In the next installment of ROSports’ “Lady Raider Video Chats,” the Richmond Senior High School girls’ basketball team is featured, which is fresh off its first scrimmages of the pre-season.

Just a week out from their season opener at home against Anson High School on Tuesday, Nov. 19, second-year head coach Teddy Moseley and the Lady Raiders are looking to make improvements and finish with a Sandhills Athletic Conference championship. Moseley notes this year’s team has improved and he’s excited for the upcoming slate.

Featured in this edition of Lady Raider Video Chats are seniors Keionna Love (guard) and Bree Wall (guard), along with junior Jayla McDougald (guard) and Moseley.

Keionna Love, senior point guard

Love is making her return to Richmond after spending her junior year at the O’Neal School in Southern Pines. As a sophomore with the Lady Raiders, she was named All-SAC and she talks about what she hopes to bring to the team in her final season. (click photo for video)

McDougald is entering her second season at the varsity level and is looking to help run the point this year. She talks about what she’s looking forward to most and comments on how well the guard play is in the early going. (click photo for video)

Wall is also in her second varsity season and is both an offensive and defensive asset for the Lady Raiders. In her interview, she breaks down what makes the defense so effective and explains what’s special about this year’s team. (click photo for video)

In his second year at the helm of the program, Moseley is looking to help bring the Lady Raiders back to the top of the Sandhills Athletic Conference standings. He discusses what the team has been working on this season and how things are different from a coaching standpoint as he enters the season. (click photo for video)
