Saturday 16th Gospel Concert to Benefit RSHS Marching Band

ROCKINGHAM – On Saturday, June 16th, the L.J. Bell school auditorium will be the site of a gospel concert.  The 6:00 p.m. event is being sponsored by G104 and the Raider Band Fans organization as a fundraiser to benefit the Richmond Raiders Marching Band.  All proceeds will be used to purchase new equipment and uniforms for the Richmond Raiders Marching Band. 

The theme will be “Southern Gospel” and will feature Nashville recording artists “The Perrys” from Hendersonville, Tennessee, as well as regional recording artists “2nd Chance Ministries” from Florence.  Also appearing will be Rockingham’s own Bob Smith. 

Tickets may be purchased in advance for $10; at-the-door cost will be $12.

Success with this fundraising event to support the Marching Raiders could precipitate similar concerts on a recurring basis.
