ELLERBE — Ann McIntyre McFayden, 68, of Ellerbe, passed away Sunday, Oct. 18, 2020 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.
Mrs. McFayden was born Jan. 25, 1952 in Moore County, a daughter of Virginia Brown McIntyre and the late James McIntyre.
She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Ellerbe, where she had served as church secretary. She had retired from Cerner Corporation.
Surviving are her husband, Donald McFayden; children, Kenny McFayden (Misty) and Amy Goins (Doug); grandchildren, Noah McFayden, Dillon Barbour, Caylie Barbour, Briar Goins and Skylar Goins; step-grandchildren, Jessie Goins and Jake Goins; mother, Virginia B. McIntyre; and sisters, Betty Andrews, Cathy Thompson and Jamie Lariviere.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mount Carmel Presbyterian Church Cemetery with the Rev. Tommy Preslar officiating.
Mrs. McFayden will lie in state from 3-5 p.m. Tuesday at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham.
