Baby Kyler Gene Stubbs, 2 months old, was called to Heaven Thursday, Jan. 6, 2022 at UNC Hospital, Chapel Hill.
Baby Kyler was born Nov. 10, 2021, son of Kenneth Shane Stubbs and Courtney Elisabeth Smith.
With his big blue eyes, he was always alert. He very seldom cried and was a good baby. He loved elephants and his blankets. He had a strong grip and would wrap his fingers around his parents’ fingers. He was just beginning to coo, sing and enjoyed watching television. Alexis, his big sister, loved her brother and she got to see his first grin.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Kenneth Gene Smith.
He is survived by his parents, Kenneth Shane Stubbs and Courtney Elisabeth Smith; sisters, Alexis Kaite Locklear and Ava Isabella Stubbs; brother, Patrick Cole Stubbs; paternal grandparents, Kenneth Eugene Stubbs and Margaret Haney Stubbs; maternal grandparents, Lisa Lovin Robinson and Wayne Robinson; great-grandparents, Vernon McLean “Mac” Lovin and Carolyn McInnis Lovin.
A graveside service will be held Friday, Jan. 14, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church, Wallace, South Carolina, with Pastor Marvin Taylor officiating.
Masks are recommended for the service.
