ROCKINGHAM — Barbara Dianne Tyner Lewis died Wednesday morning, Oct. 28 at her home on Airport Road in Rockingham.
She was born on Aug. 30, 1950 in Scotland County, daughter of the late Cecil Alfred Tyner, and Dorothy Bridges Danos, who survives.
Dianne was employed with Beaunit Mills in Rockingham, later with BeA Fasteners in Hamlet, and Stanley Fastening Systems in Hamlet.
She and her husband, Gerald, were members of Jesus First Freewill Baptist Church in Hamlet.
Dianne was preceded in death by her father, Cecil Alfred Tyner; her husband, Gerald Archie Lewis; her stepfather, Warren E. Danos; and her fiance', George Galligan.
Surviving are a son, Keith Crouch (Ashley) of High Point; three daughters, Lisa Lewis Turner (Ron), Debbie Lewis Barber (Timmy), and Noelle Lewis Ballard; a brother, Ronald Douglas Tyner (Linda), one nephew; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
There will be a graveside service on at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 30, at Richmond Memorial Park. Facial coverings will be required and social distancing will be observed. Due to COVID-19, there will not be any home visits or family night.
