ROCKINGHAM — Barbara Jordan Williams, 63, of Rockingham, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2022 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital-Richmond, Rockingham.
She was born in Marlboro County, South Carolina, April 4, 1958, daughter of Raymond Jordan and Ethel Taylor Jordan.
Mrs. Williams worked previously for Mid South Vending. She attended Second Baptist Church, Bennettsville, South Carolina. She was a lady that was full of life and loved to dance in her kitchen and play board games, especially Trouble and Yahtzee. Her favorite things to do were shop in Hobby Lobby and watch QVC! She loved her family and her pets!
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2022 at Sunset Memorial Park, 1200 W. Main St., Bennettsville, South Carolina, at 1 p.m. The Rev. J.R. Chavis will be officiating. Burial will follow.
She is survived by her husband, Donnie N. Williams of the home; daughters, Iris Michelle Locklear (John) of Bennettsville, South Carolina, Stacy Nicole Moore (Allen) of Sellers, South Carolina, Taylor Alene Denise Williams of the home, and stepdaughter, Ashley Ann Baldwin (Scotty) of Hamlet; stepson, Steven Monroe Williams (Ashley) of Knightdale; brothers, Jessie Jordan (Linda) of Chesterfield, South Carolina, Johnny Jordan of Titusville, Florida, and Harvey Jordan (Joann) of Conway, South Carolina; sister Louise Jernigan (Raffie) of Hamlet; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
